Romain Bourzeix (CTO, VFX Supervisor & Co-founder of Spline) takes us behind the scenes of L’Homme qui rétrécit and details the workflow we crafted to pull it off, centered on Flynn, our markerless camera tracking system.

Flynn made it possible to:
🎥 Film the actor freely on a blue screen and track the camera moves
🟦 See a draft version of the actor integrated in the sets: no going in blind, no wishful thinking, we saw everything live on set as we were filming it
🦾 Replay the exact camera moves scaled down to film the real sets, using our motion control and Flynn’s data
⏩ Fast-track the post-production pipeline for both editing and visual effects

@redbullgaming reached out to us to create a one-of-a-kind hero moment experience for the fans.
We pushed our custom workflow even further, replacing the green screen with in-game environments. From #AlfredMoco capture to post-production, everything was fully automated to ensure efficiency and precision!

The result? Over 500 videos, delivered instantly, ready to post by the fans 😎

Who knew our robots could go outside too?

For the Miss Dior campaign, @franck_noell and @sorepresent chose to shoot at dawn in the middle of a field to capture natural light and keep post-production to a minimum. Thanks to #TessaMoco’s efficiency, our team captured that light consistently across every shot with perfect precision.

🛗 Dual set in our studio: production had enough space to build an elevator and a corridor from scratch
🦾 Clever camera moves with our #TessaMoco : perfect to get inside the elevator and capture sharp, dynamic shots. Our motion control operator programmed each move and tested it with stand-ins, before shooting the real deal.
🎥 Efficient post-production: we sent the tracking data from our motion control to @monumental, to make their job a little bit easier.

@labaroneprod and director @akim.la challenged us to perfectly duplicate @ofenbachmusic in their music video for “Over You”. To make it happen, we used our #TessaMoco and crafted most camera moves ahead of the shoot using 3D Previs, while still leaving room for experimentation on set. Technical precision, smoother post-production, without compromising on creative freedom!

Our team captured cinematic slow-motion portraits of the brand’s VIP guests throughout their events, with each video delivered instantly, ready to be shared. Before the event even kicked off, we used 3D previs to help the brand picture how it would look on the day. Every detail was crafted with one goal: creating an experience that resonates with their brand identity and their event!

We worked alongside our partners at @laplaneterouge to program our motion control robot in sync with their LED screen The Next Stage.

The result? Total creative freedom for the director, no time or location constraints...and a whole new world of possibilities opened for visual effects and post-production.
