Snowy cloudscape, with some slightly wacky formations. Some R&D time has paved a way to be able to combine some aspects of Ultra Dynamic Sky with sparse VDB clouds. The zoomed in second shot shows much clearer definition than the VDBs themselves typically allow, without being impossible to load. Music from Epidemic Sound.

Quick summary of most of my EmberGen/Unreal/NanoVDB plugin projects and experiments from the past nearly-a-year of the beta releases. Came across EmberGen when a colleague was experimenting one morning and never looked back. I pretty much only make cloudscapes with them and usually with a space theme.

Last year I was asked by director Tim Main to help on Black Wing- part of Epic's ANZ UnrealEngine short film challenge, and working with Heckler, international Post-production house based in Sydney.
