One of the best parts of this job was teaming up with my little brother, now making a name for himself in photography. This one was a special project to be part of it doesn’t get much more Newcastle than an NUFC shoot.

I loved being involved in this, especially with the range of technical builds we pulled off. From rigging cameras to the front and top of the train, to stripping everything back and mounting onto the drinks cart, to building back up into studio mode with the 24-290, every setup had its own challenge. We also rebuilt the Ronin 2 into a slim, nimble configuration to move smoothly through the train’s narrow aisles.

Shoots like this are always a highlight, especially when I can combine roles, working as both focus puller and Ronin tech while also supplying the kit.
