From the infamous brownstone in Harlem New York to Englewood and the Cliffs of Jersey settling back West to Inglewood and the Crenshaw District of Cali. We have been riding as ONE for a clear decade now. Two separate journeys merging smoother than either of us could imagine.

It is Monday. God is Still good. Mama's are still praying.

I'm watching footage and noticing the images displayed in our slideshow that was being presented during the performance over these last two ❗️SoldOut❗️ shows. While witnessing how many have "Answered the Call" throughout history Im grateful and honored to know... I am Him.

I am that Father
I am that Husband
I am that Man lying on the street with his body pressed against the pavement by the Opressor.
I am that Brother gathering with other Brothers ready to make a change.

Having the opportunity to celebrate him in my hometown Nashville, with family, is the most rewarding at this time in my life. I receive these moments with a higher level of understanding than ever before. Taking nothing for granted.

Family is the most important institution in our society. More than fraternity and sorority. More than church and government. More than employment and financial gain. It is family and family alone that can defeat all opposition.

Coltrane is my gift to GOD and from GOD. He is my Lil Basquiat. My Lil Scat King Cole! He is a GOAT by nature. Please dont be offended. He has purpose (like all of our children) and by the grace of GOD it will be fulfilled.

What do you know about redemption?

Being redeemed rarely happens through our own account. Instead its typically a gift from a source of higher authority or the manufacturer. Like, I think about redeeming coupons...I can't make those coupons! If I tried it would look fake and I would probably be denied or worse punished under penalty of the law. Every now and again I get coupons based off of my "earnings" but those are just an illusion to make me feel as though they've gained something without purchase when in essence, I did.

But a real moment of walking up to the counter and handing over a ticket to redeem something greater than what you actually paid for is an entirely different experience altogether. Like, when you spend $100 on a parlay and if you win you redeem it for $2500❗️
In that moment you feel like youre the luckiest person alive.

Thats how I feel about this year. That's how I'm feeling in this very moment. After the feast my wife prepared for me and my family I had to just sit back in GRATITUDE. I am grateful for redemption.
