Taking inspiration from Kandinsky’s abstract compositions, we created a live system where shapes and motion recombine in rhythmic patterns, mixed with the squares and main lines of the building.

To give it a 3D feeling, the particles simulations interact with the building’s architecture and 2D generated drawings, allowing us to twist, decompose and reshape its form and lightning in real time.

The drawings are also transformed through sound taking the inputs of @enos_ofc & @acideplastique through audioreactivity and live controls.

The show is performed live during 4 hours and programmed on our custom @touchdesigner system

SKY is an immersive A/V installation made of flying cymbals that fly above the audience like small UFOs.
With animated suns projected on them, they create eclipses, shadows and animated light in the space; a sky made from sound & light.

Created in collaboration between @roberto_maq and @structurals_ .

Roberto develops a spatialized sound composition using individual audio outputs that activate solenoid motors and surface speakers mounted on the cymbals. Structurals designs the kinetic system and lighting, allowing the cymbals to move and transform the space during the performance, live controlled along the music.

Presented as both a live A/V performance and an installation.

TOUCHDESIGNER WORKSHOP
Geneva, 19–24 March 2026

Advanced module 21-24 march at our workspace

Four intensive days dedicated to generative and procedural visual systems in TouchDesigner.

We will build real time visuals in 2D, 3D and point cloud environments, working with systems that evolve and transform through generative design. LiDAR scans captured with an iPhone will be used to bring surrounding architectures into the visual process.

The workshop will also focus on live control for VJ and performance contexts. MIDI controllers, keyboards and body tracking with MediaPipe will be used to make systems playable and adaptable to different setups. We will also explore how to connect visuals to light using DMX.

A final session will be dedicated to optimization and file organization, sharing practical methods to improve performance and build clean projects.

For those who wish to discover the software from the very basics, an introduction of 4h will be given at @bureauculturel
