Some impressions from the amazing opening @msuzagreb of my permanent sculpture and a 300 x 450 cm print inside the museum of the architecture elements building the composition of the surface. Here is a Fragment of a text of the connected exhibition at Cecao Gallery at Open University (see posts before): Simultaneously with the exhibition at the CEKAO Gallery of the Open University (Pučko otvoreno učilište) in Zagreb, a spatial installation in the form of a concrete platform with Herbst’s drawings will get installed on the southern plateau of the MSU. Elements of New Zagreb’s architecture are mapped onto the surface of the platform, creating a basis for contemplation, interpretation, and active use of the urban New Zagreb space. The platform is not just an object, it becomes a place of gathering, movement, and participation. There, the dynamics of visitors, from passers-by or skateboarders and other rollerbladers, to random users, become an integral part of the artwork. … The simultaneous intervention on the MSU plateau extends the exhibition’s themes to the city’s public space. Self-governance thus becomes more than a title; in Timo Herbst’s work, it manifests itself as an artistic gesture that explores the legacy of modernism, questions the social role of space, and calls for the co-creation of new forms of urban experience.

Some impressions (part one) of „Play by rules“, @marcusnebe and my soloshow @kunsthallegoeppingen, more to follow soon, but also wait for the official documentation by Kunsthalle Göppingen. We show our 5 channel video installation “Play by rules” which grows since 2015 with new chapters from #hiroshima and #lüzerath. Additionally for the first time we show 3D prints created in the last months which Marcus and me started @paradise__air last summer. The show runs until July 2nd and is accompanied with a program of lectures, workshops, screening and performance which hopes to create a growing discourse and exhibition. Many thanks to the great team of Kunsthalle Göppingen, especially @evapaulitsch and #valentinwetzel. My daily work for this exhibition was supported 2022 by Initial @akademiederkuenste and 2023 @fondationfiminco . Big thanks for that and to all the nice people who came to the great opening. #gestures #videoart #comtemporaryart #zeitgenössischekunst #kunsthalle #3dprinting #installation #friendship #artandpolitics #manifestation #engagement #diskurs #sharing

EXPOSITION | TIMO HERBST – EXQUISITE BODY

📅 18 mars – 25 mai 2026
Vernissage : 18 mars à 19h (Inscriptions : Eventbrite.fr/Goethe-Institut Paris)

Commissaire d'exposition @philippasbach

Big thanks to @knjiznica_pouz ,Ksenija Foretić, Nives Sertic and Leila Topic and especially to curator @ana_ske_ helping developing this project which will continue with the permanent sculpture in front of MSU opening mid November.- Here an excerpt of Ana Škegro’s text for the exhibition: “The solo exhibition of German artist Timo Herbst entitled ‘Autogestion - Common Places’ presents a series of newly created works which are inspired by Zagreb’s modernist architecture observed through research into Henri Lefebvre’s concept of ‘self-governance’ (franc. autogestion). Lefebvre understood self-governance as a permanent practice of creation and participation, from intimate everyday gestures to shaping communal life in the city. In the modernist architecture and urbanism of Zagreb, especially New Zagreb, one can recognize an echo of this thought, especially in attempts to shape spaces of collectivity, encounter, and joint action. Herbst takes Lefebvre’s concept and transforms it into an artistic gesture by exploring the architectural forms of Zagreb. He fragments, rearranges, and translates them into drawings, prints, videos, and painted concrete sculptures that invite active interpretation and participation. Elements of Herbst’s drawings are rearranged, with forms merging into each other and creating a continuous and fragmented composition that resonates with the essence of Zagreb’s modernist forms at the same time. … The CEKAO Gallery, as part of the interior of one of the representative examples of Zagreb’s modernist architecture, provides an ideal context for Herbst’s work, while his simultaneous intervention on the MSU plateau extends the exhibition’s themes to the city’s public space. Self-governance thus becomes more than a title; in Timo Herbst’s work, it manifests itself as an artistic gesture that explores the legacy of modernism, questions the social role of space, and calls for the co-creation of new forms of urban experience. #modernism #zagreb #architecture #exhibition #concrete #space #drawing #contemporaryart

Some excerpts of my work “Shanghai Cables Pt. 1 and 2 @mdbkleipzig . Both parts dealing with the gentrification process of Greenland Bund Shanghai together for the first time with hand sewed sitting bags out of original banners of the filmed construction sites. The Soundscape was developed out of original sounds and electronic feedback by Knut Aufermann and Sarah Washington in collaboration with me. Big Thanks for the support of the museum, Eidotech, the curators Philpp Freytag and Anne Richter who were always open for my ideas and development of this specific installation for the MdbK. This was fun. Still on view in the exhibition Screen Time until 31.8.25. #artinleipzig #shanghai #videoart #museum #gentrification #kunst

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
