We are beyond excited to share an excerpt of our most recent collaboration with the World of @Warcraft team on the new WoW: Midnight cinematic, “All That is Sacred”.

When the team at @Blizzard approached us with a script featuring conflict, pain and loss, we knew we had a special journey ahead of us. At the heart of this narrative is Lady Liadrin – an elven paladin whose path has been defined by both profound tragedy and unwavering faith.

With the cruelty of war being such a driving force behind Liadrin’s actions, we wanted her memories to feel distinctly brutal. We chose to stylise these moments with blood-red skies, where the characters are nearly silhouetted against the scarlet clouds.

We are deeply proud of how this emotionally loaded piece turned out. To our team: Thank you for your devotion and your craft. You are the Light! ✨

What happens when you close your eyes and let Laufey’s magical, jazzy music guide you to a dream space? ✨🌌

For the launch trailer of @Laufey in Fortnite, Epic Games presented us with this ask – and we decided to approach the 2D-animated dream sequence of the trailer by capturing the essence of the renowned musician:

Laufey’s music and image is characterised by a certain sophistication and playfulness. We leaned into elegance and control over overt drama while staying whimsical – creating a romantic visual language that feels nostalgic, yet contemporary, directly in line with what defines Laufey’s distinctive music.

Inspired by her fantastical ‘A Matter of Time’ tour and its fairytale-esque stage and lighting design, we brought in purple hues contrasted with the golden stanzas flowing through the dreamlike starry space.

A short and sweet sequence, brought to life by a small and strong team at Sun Creature with @psyop – we had such a fun time on this one. Don’t forget to watch the full trailer on YouTube!

We are incredibly excited to share our first collaboration with @oaklandroots Sports Club for the reveal of their newest jerseys. For this project, we had the unique opportunity to step into the world of sports and fashion, while bringing the spirit of their kits to life through an epic and mythic interpretation of a local legend.

With an open brief, our team decided to push the boundaries of 2D animation—transforming a traditional reveal into a celebration of vibrant colors, high-octane FX, and digital glitches.

We take great pride in the boldness of this piece and the smooth, transparent collaboration with the Oakland Roots team. It was a journey of mutual trust and shared ambition.

Following “The Untold Lore”, we are witnessing the return of a character who once craved the spotlight—and now, his master plan is finally revealed.🔥

Bringing the 100th brawler to life is a milestone we are honored to be part of. We envisioned this trailer to be both dynamic and grand; we balanced the rhythmic, circus-inspired score with complex character interactions and gravity-defying acrobatics to stay true to the signature Supercell energy.

We take great pride in the craftsmanship our team brought to this piece—from the vibrant, action-packed animation sequences to the hand-painted circus environments. It has been a true joy to see this project through to such a colorful result. 👏

Villains aren’t born; they’re made. 🎪

We’re super excited to share our latest collaboration with #Supercell: Sirius – The Untold Lore. Bringing the first-ever villain of the @BrawlStars universe to life was a project fueled by our collective devotion to the craft.

To tell this story, we leaned into a 1920s-inspired cut-out shadow animation style. We drew on strong theatrical posing and composition, using high-contrast lighting to mirror the complexity of Sirius’s internal world. Every element of the circus setting is woven into the film: from the tactile tent textures and subtle film grain to the circus-inspired rhythm of the edit. Each detail represents a shared effort to honor the art direction and create a definitive shadow act.

Fully trusted by the client and powered by an incredible team—this one is for the books. 👏

Trying a brand-new workflow was challenging at first, but it sparked a huge wave of curiosity. Seeing the brushes move felt like opening a new playground.

It took Thibaud right back to feeling like a student again: learning, experimenting, and just… playing.

One month since the release of our celebratory film for the 5th Anniversary of League of Legends: Wild Rift! As the 2D Animation studio behind this piece, we let this question guide our entire creative process. 👇

Our Take: Poetic & Emotionally Resonant
At #SunCreature, we have a soft spot for emotional pieces. This project allowed us to shift pace from typical action driven game commercials and focus entirely on giving visual form to deep, relatable emotions.

The distinguished animation style makes the story unfold in a poetic and visually captivating way. Richly detailed environments and expressive character moments create a sense of emotional depth, allowing us to identify with a protagonist going through life struggles—as we all have.

The Narrative We Visualized
We gave visual form to those moments where we as adults feel challenged and lonely.
We wanted to honour the power of community and showcase the turn in the journey—when we answer our friends’ call and reconnect.
