Sven Voth, Gründer von Snipes und Higgins, war heuer Teil der Jury der Forbes Top Creators.
Er baute Snipes von einem einzelnen Store in Essen zu einem internationalen Streetwear-Retailer mit über 750 Filialen und knapp zwei Milliarden US-$ Umsatz auf. Nach dem Verkauf an Deichmann startete er in Wien sein nächstes Projekt: Higgins – ein neuer Fashion-Retailer im Low-Cost-Segment, der 2025 mit zehn Stores in Österreich startet.
Auf die Frage, was für ihn bei der Auswahl der Top Creators ausschlaggebend war, sagt er: Entscheidend ist nicht nur Reichweite, sondern ob jemand in seiner Zielgruppe echte Relevanz besitzt. Er achtet darauf, ob ein Creator ein besonderes Talent mitbringt – etwas, das ihn unverwechselbar macht – und ob dieses gewisse Etwas spürbar ist, das man nicht trainieren oder künstlich erzeugen kann.
