I am so excited to announce the public opening of FROST! My newest pop-up show is playing in Los Angeles from 10pm-2am on January 31st at @svstudiosla during a special event by @expression__________ . This project, produced by @1983creative for Sony Pictures, was shot at SVStudios using a practical first approach. Captured fully in camera on our Panoramic LED stage, a four foot, hand crafted steel version of the iconic studio logo floated midair - filmed in stunning macro detail with a motion control robotic camera system.
Custom, high resolution content played across our LED stage to create real, in camera reflections and an immersive final image that honors Sony’s tentpole releases and genres. Practical effects were captured live, with no CG shortcuts.
The final piece premiered globally, debuting at CinemaCon inside Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and traveling internationally, including Bangkok.
