Sneak peek of our Aberdeen Park project a few days before handover to our clients.

Our spiral staircase based on a series of involute curves was designed around one of the few existing architectural features in the house, this stained glass window on the landing.

Great work by an amazing team led by Project Architect James Barker.

To help create a new event space for a long-time & respected client @royallancasterlondon. We were requested to demolish two columns, requiring us to effectively built a bridge on the 19th floor spanning 14m. All steel coming up in a lift & welded together on site.

To make things even more exciting the installation had to take into consideration 3 live services which could not be diverted without shutting down the whole hotel. Once installed the columns could be demolished and steel sprayed black with an intumescent paint coating.

A glass box extension, minimal staircase and well placed lightwell mean that even on a winters day when the sun hardly rises in the sky; this basement is blessed with natural light. A continuous natural oak handrail floats on glass panel balustrades. Inviting your hand as you make your way down.

On this project we created a basement that used the full footprint of the property, having demolished the existing internal structure and only retained the front façade. A combination of waterproof concrete, cavity membrane system and ventilation were used to prevent this basement from experiencing damp or stale environment.

We had @cupa.pizarras visit as they were so pleased with how this project turned out. The Cupaclad 201 Vanguard System was a dream to install and everyone has been so pleased to see the final effect. The dimensions of the building and setting out of the windows all taken into consideration knowing the size of our slate material. A wonderful harmonising aesthetic  @guttfieldarc has used with us on previous projects like the Hackney Backhouse built to brick dimensions.

Hidden in a leafy corner off Dollis Hill, we’re pleased to see this wonderful new build we completed earlier this year becoming a home. Like all great episodes of Grand Designs, a baby arrived on its completion. From start to finish it took under 12months. Which includes excavation of a 85sqm basement.
