.. Al Farisa de @ayshaearar
Aysha E Arar est une artiste palestinienne qui s’adonne à diverses disciplines telles que la peinture, la vidéo et la performance. Par la fiction et la poésie, elle cherche à apprivoiser les conditions de l’existence palestinienne : son histoire et son devenir. Elle présente un ensemble de nouvelles œuvres sur textile ainsi qu’une vidéo.

Pour sa première exposition en France, Natasha Tontey, artiste vidéaste et plasticienne indonésienne de culture minahasa présente deux installations vidéos qui relisent les traditions dont elle hérite dans une esthétique kitsch et délurée.

Dans ce cadre, le collectif a proposé un workshop de traduction collective autour du texte « Beneath the Howl of Hunger » de l’autrice, chercheuse et traductrice palestinienne Alaa Alqaisi. Les participant·es ont pu expérimenter un dispositif de parole participatif de l’artiste Brandon Gercara qui présentera une exposition au centre d’art à l’automne 2026 et deux nouvelles œuvres de Monia Ben Hamouda produites pour l’occasion. Au Centre d’art contemporain de la Ferme du Buisson, Monia Ben Hamouda présente « Post-Scriptum », sa première exposition personnelle en France. Nourrie par son héritage tuniso-italien et par l’apprentissage de la calligraphie islamique auprès de son père, l’artiste façonne un langage sculptural où le texte, l’ornement et la matière deviennent terrain de tension et d’émotion.

Pour Projets, elle revient sur cette exposition où le langage et le geste se répondent, inspirés par la poésie najdite et par son héritage culturel. Entre sculptures suspendues, pigments terreux et espaces partiellement recouverts, ses œuvres transforment l’exposition en un jeu d’interprétation où chaque forme se mesure au temps et à la mémoire.

Ce samedi 29 novembre, en résonance à l’exposition, le collectif @_qalqalah_ propose une après-midi d’échanges autour de la notion d’intraductibilité, à l’invitation de Monia Ben Hamouda.Le public pourra participer à une traduction collective du texte « Beneath the Owl of Hunger » de l’autrice, chercheuse et traductrice palestinienne Alaa Alqaisi.

After Ulrike Meinhof, he turns to Judee Sill, an american folk singer whose career and life oscillated between turmoil and transcendance before she passed due to an overdose at about 35 - around our age. His works miror her mystical, devotional, sometimes epiphanic songs and presents censer faces caught in embrace, haunting characters and altars to the natural world. The Master’s Clock est la plateforme éditoriale du Centre d’art contemporain de la Ferme du Buisson. Elle s’intéresse à la diffusion de recherches contemporaines qui explorent les politiques du temps à travers la commande, la traduction et la diffusion de textes d’auteur.ices, d’artistes, de chercheur euses et de poète.sses.

Nous sommes heureux-ses de publier «Loin des yeux, hors du temps. Illisibilité et intraduisibilité dans la pratique de Monia Ben Hamouda», un essai de la curatrice et traductrice Line Ajan. Elle contextualise la pratique de l’artiste dans la lignée des mouvements artistiques de la seconde moitié du 20e siècle dans le monde arabophone et ses diasporas, tel que l’Hurufiyya, qui considérait la lettre comme un élément plastique.
