Congratulations to this year’s Fastest Bostonians! This year marks the fourth annual Fastest Bostonians celebration and award ceremony, honoring local racers who represent the best of our city at the Marathon and every day.

Alongside the @teambaa, I was thrilled to honor the Fastest Man, Woman, Nonbinary person, and wheelchair athlete.

Congratulations to:

Michael Schmidt, Fastest Man, finishing in 2:22:32

Tara Lyons, Fastest Woman, finishing in 2:48:41

Danielle Bishop, Fastest Nonbinary Person, finishing in 3:21:28

Delmace Mayo, Fastest Wheelchair Athlete, finishing in 1:51:11

I also want to extend congratulations to every resident who trained for months through a brutal winter and showed up at the starting line—it’s always a joy cheering you on as you cross the finish line!

Yesterday’s day of racing concluded with the inaugural @TeamBAA Youth Mile presented by @BostonChildrens Hospital, featuring more than 1,000 young runners between the ages of 7 and 14 running up and down Boylston Street and through the #BostonMarathon presented by @BankofAmerica FINISH LINE!🏁👏
