Technikal is excited to announce it is officially Climate Neutral Certified. It took a year of hard work to get this certification and I believe we are the first print shop/photo lab in the US to receive it. What exactly does this certification mean?
Certified companies must measure their total greenhouse gas emissions each year. Then, that company must commit to a reduction plan to cut future emissions within a 12-24 month timeline and annually report their progress on that plan. Finally, the company must invest in verified carbon credits to compensate for all of their emissions, directing investment into critical projects that remove and avoid emissions. All certification data is publicly available on Climate Neutral’s website, and the process is repeated annually when companies must recertify.
This is just a part of Technikal's larger environmental sustainability plan. We are committed to transparency and accountability and you can learn more about our plan at https://technikal.support/#sustainability (link in bio).

I don’t usually post about running here, but I’m thrilled to share that I’ve just launched @secondwind.run online coaching for runners. As some of you know, running ultramarathons has become a second passion for me. I recently finished my coaching certification and am excited to help others work toward their own running goals.
One of my athletes just finished their first trail half-marathon last week, and it’s been amazing to support them along the way! Whether you’re thinking about your first 5K or aiming to PR in a 50 miler, I’d love to help.
If you know any runners or anyone who wants to get started, please feel free to share this!

We’re moving to Alhambra! Help us lighten the load by taking some books off our hands.
Technikal is moving to Alhambra! But before we do, we’re putting a ton of books on sale in the hopes that we don’t have to move them. Bring your tote bags and take home some books!

John Lehr’s exhibition presents a selection of photographs from his series The Last Things. The work in this series depicts the artifacts of an American archeological present: vernacular forms of architecture, signage, images, and objects that were hastily made in a rush for attention, or abandoned in place after their usefulness had expired. In his work the didacticism of public discourse becomes a springboard for uncovering the complexity and nuance of personal expression.
Lehrs works often positions the language of capitalism as a form of public address. Words and images repeat and contradict, reflecting emphatic pleas and shifting priorities. Flaking paint morphs into JPEG vinyl printouts and LED displays, blurring the line between commercial speech and individual thought. The selection of works in this exhibition depict image objects in the world that appear to have been dismantled as they were being observed, and re appear in fragmentary new forms. Lehrs method of depiction fuses these incidents of accrual and erasure and holds them in a vivid suspended state. Embedded in the work is a belief in the power and absurdity of objects that bear the traces of collective experience.
It’s been a fun 5 years. Hoping for another 25 or so. Thanks to everyone that makes it possible. ❤️

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
