On Friday 13 March, we link up with Tectonic to bring together a lineup criss-crossing key corners of the UK bass music continuum.

Label founder Pinch is joined by Roska, Beatrice M. and a special guest to be announced, with Sergeant Pokes on hosting duty, for a night rooted in soundsystem weight and fearless musical range.

Tectonic Sound - announcing our first dance of 2026! Friday Feb 6th at the newly opened Moon Club space at Lakota, Bristol. If you’ve not checked it out yet, it’s basically a dark room with a bassy house system with separate bar area and seating! No photos/filming, just immersive experience.

We are proud to host a special and rare appearance from Headhunter who will bring a heavily weighted dose of bass hypnosis, alongside rhythm and beat scientist Cocktail Party Effect, the OG Croydon dubplate champ DJ Chefle and an all vinyl set from dope selecta Amaia. It’s a curated musical journey so get down early and stay late, doors from 10.30pm to 3am.

We wanted to send out a special thank you to everyone who has celebrated 20 years of Tectonic with us in 2025. It’s been really humbling to look back over the years and reflect on all the amazing releases and creative talent that have contributed towards Tectonic; to think about the parties that shaped dubstep as it grew and mutated - and all the changes that have happened across the musical spectrum, as well as for the label in that period of time.

From Rob:
When Tectonic started back in 2005, I couldn’t imagine that it would grow and have such a lasting impact -and that gives me confidence about the future too. Being able to put out a killer compilation this year that connected artists older and newer to Tectonic, felt like one of the best ways to mark the moment in time - keeping the other eye looking forwards. It’s all given me a much-needed boost of enthusiasm, and I’m truly grateful to everyone who has been a part of that. I especially want to thank Lizzy for being the solid rock that helps to keep everything on track and happening when it should do, I think we make a great team!

From Lizzy:
I’ve felt so lucky to be a point on the journey of some artists I really love this year, thank you for trusting us to release your music. What a privilege it is to be part of this creative process, with music spanning industrial, techno, grime, broken beat, electronica, and of course, dubstep. Love you all x

When earlier this year Pinch asked me for a contribution of a track to Tectonic’s 20th birthday festivities, it was clear to me that it had to be one from our time working together. Digging for it in the archives on my old studio PC, I actually came across several that had me wonder why I didn’t release them at the time. I thought it would be a shame to let them gather dust forever. So - tying in with the final 2562 dj-set at the label’s recent hometown celebrations in Bristol - we decided to look back and commemorate that special era one last time by setting them free. Hope you enjoy them! - Dave
