Why this matters to me I’m a mixed chick and within my own family we have many different hair textures and I realised many years ago that these varying textures were a problem for some hairstylists 🤷🏽‍♀️

When you dig a bit deeper it’s because the education wasn’t offers during training and to be honest it’s still not brilliant now at that point but it is very slowly improving 🙏🏾

Hairdressing is an industry in which you should be continually updating your skills anyway so if your not up to speed with curls coils and texture then you should be booking on some education to sort that out !

This is not a trend ! It’s actual people out there wanting to be looked after by our industry to a great standard ……… like everyone else really 🤷🏽‍♀️

Then June 22nd sees us in Manchester at the gorgeous space that is @avesta_hair_academy 😍 again to go through all things curls and texture gain your confidence and take away the fear 🫶🏽
