Sunday March 22nd sees the return of our FREE family friendly Hip Hop community event @theyard_mcr. A Co-Op of Artists, DJs, Dancers and Traders coming together to bring you some original flavour. Extolling the values of Original Hip Hop Street Culture; Peace, Love, Unity and Having Fun.

Expect a funky vinyl soundtrack from amazing local and internationally renowned DJs, including @_3rd_phase_ , Cheetham Hill legend #JohnnyJay, Dynamic Duo @jamiegroovement and DJ Ana May and Turntable Grandmaster @tommy_p_nuts. There’ll be open poppin’, lockin’ and breakin’ cyphers for all ages, with support from some of the best both locally and nationwide. Live Percussion from Ben @we_are_bepo. T-shirt Screen Printing with @pritchyprints_studio. Kids Graffiti lettering with Get Busy @mista_rex365. Hip Hop Medallion making workshop with Angie Riley, artist. Fashion and Vinyl stalls from the likes of Manchester’s own #BEPO and @vinyl.veil. We have an interactive exhibition from Hip Hop Artist, @tinyeyecons. Plus delicious hot food from the @the_pattie_shack in the soul kitchen. Join us and bring the family. It’s free!
