And I know exactly what went wrong....oops!!!

First marathon in a while where I had major runner’s trots. 💩
Everything felt so good except for the fact that I had to go to the bathroom about 5x during this race!!

I usually follow a strict carb loading schedule and stick to safe foods the days leading up to a bigger effort like this. I ignored my normal protocol and proceeded to eat a random assortment of food and lots of fatty foods the day before! OOPS.

Sometimes we have to relearn the hard way.

All of my fueling sat well and I did not cramp or feel unfocused once, I knew going into the run it was about to be a rough one.

Fueling for the @lifetime.ltgames :

This is a high output event with times averaging from 40-60 minutes. Going in and out of barbell and dumbbell movements, explosive box jumps, and cardio machines including the curved runner, ski erg, and rower. I did my best to stay topped off with carbs throughout the day.

My start time was 6:45pm. So I had normal breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the day. There is not a ton of running, so I wasn’t too worried about being too full at the start.

Additional fuel I used:
- Maurten 160 carb mix throughout day x3 packets
- Amexx fruit chews
- Honey stinger waffle
- Ketone IQ w/ caffine
- Enervit gel about 10 minutes before we started
