When Vihaan arrives for the funeral of his school best friend, the most unexpected set of events, and people, follow. As the title of the film gets pronounced in subsequent developments, ‘How Not to Deal With Grief’ portrays the protagonist’s efforts to come to terms with everything that he’s feeling, or rather the very lack of the feelings that won’t come. i remember watching SXSW and Clermont-Ferrand shorts on the internet back in college and thinking this was the place to be! Fast forward to a few years later I met Pranav, and we worked on a few ads and a music video , but when he shared the script of @wewerehere_ , i knew we were finally collaborating on THE project. The kind of film only he could make. The kind of film I liked to consume.

2016 trend chhodo, the 2018 ashwin who spent more time watching shorts than lectures would’ve been super stoked to know he’s part of a film that’s playing at the very same festivals.

‘We Were Here’ will have it’s World Premiere at the @lecourtclermont , followed by it’s North American Premiere at @sxsw 🤖
