When Vihaan arrives for the funeral of his school best friend, the most unexpected set of events, and people, follow. As the title of the film gets pronounced in subsequent developments, ‘How Not to Deal With Grief’ portrays the protagonist’s efforts to come to terms with everything that he’s feeling, or rather the very lack of the feelings that won’t come. Head to the link in bio to watch how it all unfolds. #ShortFilmOfTheDay

the human gives up on the perspective of looking at life like a child,
it’s not a lost cause, it’s just that they aren’t really a child anymore.

mangoes, cricket balls and phone calls have taken different form.

how well are you able to speak to your mother is the real question.
and how well is your mother able to speak to her loved ones.

does she tell how she really feels,
or are her words simply buried in the achaar she sends you.

an early morning with mujeeb and manu, canoeing to an island, playing frisbee, swimming in the river, talking about the local flavours, falling asleep on water, you’d almost think this was the closest you can go back to a childhood summer.

things over the last year that made me pause and look:

1. Ricky Vasan’s artwork at Galerie Isa
2. Dheer Kaku’s ‘Safe Place’, that reminded me of the film Chintu ka birthday
3. Patti Smith’s beautiful memoir ‘Just Kids’
4. My favourite excerpt from Rintu Thomas’ article on documentary filmmaking and the politics of a fixed gaze
5. A page from a zine I’ve always had on my wall, and a postcard from kochi that conveys almost the same thing.
6. Star tortoises casually existing beside a woman peeling peas at a home in Ahmedabad
7. An installation that was a part of Shivangi Kalra’s ‘You’re growing on me’ exhibit
8. The street art near Bandstand
9. Roopvartani by Hema Mhatre as part of her study of the forms of things
10. Untitled artwork at the Jehangir art gallery
11. The TV screen i fully vibed with at Sudan’s gig
12. Manto’s ‘Kingdom’s End’
13. Appa’s first ‘selfie on film’ at his new place, the first month he moved to Singapore

i remember watching SXSW and Clermont-Ferrand shorts on the internet back in college and thinking this was the place to be! Fast forward to a few years later I met Pranav, and we worked on a few ads and a music video , but when he shared the script of @wewerehere_ , i knew we were finally collaborating on THE project. The kind of film only he could make. The kind of film I liked to consume.

2016 trend chhodo, the 2018 ashwin who spent more time watching shorts than lectures would’ve been super stoked to know he’s part of a film that’s playing at the very same festivals.

‘We Were Here’ will have it’s World Premiere at the @lecourtclermont , followed by it’s North American Premiere at @sxsw 🤖

i remember watching SXSW and Clermont-Ferrand shorts on the internet back in college and thinking this was the place to be!

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
