We feel compelled to respond to accusations that the milk in The i Paper's fridge is "horrid"

That's according to Peter Hitchens who denied claims in Popbitch that he was spotted guzzling our semi-skimmed from the carton, as he prefers whole

But what is the cream of the crop?

"For some reason, international leaders keep searching for the real Donald Trump," writes former US Chief of Staff Miles Taylor.

"I want to put this to rest once and for all. I’ve seen behind the curtain. There’s no deeper layer, and people are dying because of it."

At the link in @theipaper's bio, Taylor explains: "The US President can’t process the consequences of his own ignorance. The world needs to stop fooling itself that he will ever change."

The first UK cases of a deadly lung disease in tradespeople working with a stone popular in kitchen worktops were revealed by Senior Reporter Joe Duggan in February 2024.

Since then, the weight of scientific evidence, cases and the number of young men who have died from the disease a relatively short time after diagnosis have grown.

Yet little action has been taken to end the unsafe working practices that have allowed workers to inhale toxic silica dust while cutting and grinding engineered – or artificial – stone.

As a result, we are launchingour Killer Kitchens campaign to force the Government to clamp down on deadly dust.

Opinion | “Sir Keir Starmer promised change at the general election,” writes Adam Boulton”

“He has not changed the country to the satisfaction of the electorate but he has certainly changed the fortunes of the Labour Party.”

“Labour has gone from its loveless landslide to having no political heartland in the UK to call its own.”

Exclusive | Andy Burnham’s allies have been offering peerages to MPs willing to stand aside so he can return to Westminster, The i Paper has been told.

Multiple sources claim the Mayor of Manchester’s allies have been making moves to position him for any leadership challenge which may come after the local elections.

At the link in @theipaper's bio, our political editor Caroline Wheeler and deputy political editor Arj Singh explain why this demonstrates the lengths the competing factions in Westminster are going to in support of their favoured candidates.

Award-winning biologist, bestselling author, iconic broadcaster, owner of one of the world’s most recognisable voices, and – as of today – a centenarian. The vast majority of us have never known life without Sir David Frederick Attenborough’s trademark awestruck narration emanating out of our televisions.

For decades, he’s been introducing us to wildlife wonders and passionately advocating for environmental preservation. In the process, his wise face and reassuring whisper have made him the nation’s surrogate grandfather. Few people in history have had such a powerful impact on how we view our planet.

Even at the grand old age of 100, the tireless hero continues to inspire, enlighten and entertain us. A prolific recent burst of activity has seen him broadcast three new projects already this year. And tonight (8.30pm, BBC One), Kirsty Wark will host a star-studded event live from the Royal Albert Hall celebrating Attenborough’s career, soundtracked by the BBC Concert Orchestra.

In birthday tribute to the great man, I’ve selected the most memorable moments from his mighty body of work of over 100 programmes– from greeting cannibals to being tickled by baby gorillas, from bonding with rhinos to walking with royals.

This is Sir David Attenborough’s world. All we can do is sit back, marvel at it and try to preserve it for future generations. Happy 100th, Sir Dave, and thank you for everything.

“They say you have to work at something for 20 years to call yourself an expert,” writes Caroline Hirons. “I’m nearly at 30 years experience in the beauty business, and I’m 40 years on the shop floor, so I’m very comfortable calling myself an expert.”

“There are things I’m not great at, but that’s why you hire people better than you, and you delegate – and the ability to delegate comes with confidence. I genuinely do not think that someone younger than me could do what I do. And that’s not – as the youth would say – ‘shade’, that’s just fact.

“With my experience, there are things I feel strongly about – and things the younger generation, entering the workplace, really need to hear.”

At the link in @theipaper’s bio, @carolinehirons shares her advice on how she has succeeded in the workplace as a working mum - but also how employers should better support them.

As all good lovers of thrillers will know, there is no greater feeling than tearing through a book where the plot leaves you breathless and its twists floor you.

Gillian McAllister is the author of such thrillers, perhaps most famously with her hit, million-copy-selling novel Wrong Place, Wrong Time, which was a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick. But she is also an avid reader of them.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
