stoked to share that our short film, not today, not tomorrow, has been accepted into four wonderful festivals in the new year! the best holiday gift of all ☺️

the hollyshorts monthly screening will take place in la this january at the chinese tcl theater, date tba—
i would be sooooo tickled to see any la local friendly faces there and i’ll keep you posted when the screening date is officially announced 💙

at the chandler film festival, we screen on january 26th as a part of the suspense/thriller block a at 8-9PM. it’s held in the look dine-in cinemas in chandler, az!

at the poppy jasper international film festival, we’re a part of the local showcase screening on thursday, april 10th at 12pm. it’s held in the district theater in gilroy, ca!

cinema on the bayou film festival takes place january 22nd to 29th with our screening date on the 27th in lafeyette, la!

thank you to the teams of these festivals that have chosen to include us and share our film with fellow cinephiles— it’s surreal and an honor to get to be a part of such incredible creative communities. i’m excited to travel to celebrate everyone’s art with so many unique artists and filmmakers!! 🥹

🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛

forgive me for the following short novel, but i have a lot to say—

a year ago, i had the opportunity to create a short film with an incredible team that we poured our hearts and souls into! it’s the first project i’ve had the good fortune of wearing three different hats for; writing, producing and acting.

we’re now onto our film festival run to celebrate all the hard work and share our short with fellow movie-lovers. we screen at the orlando film festival this upcoming week! @orlandofilmfest

synopsis: two best friends on the run are stranded in the desert and fight to control their own fate while the odds are stacked against them. sometimes family is given, and sometimes family is chosen and found.

things may go from bad to worse but not today, not tomorrow. @ntntshort

this narrative was inspired by my own relationships with both my older sister, maddi, and my childhood best friend, sarah. they have shaped who i am and helped me find myself consistently throughout my life; especially in the times that i felt lost, they have brought me back. i love you both 💙 @shmadsters @imsarahmsjackson

thank you to every person that impacted, worked on and touched this film. i would not have gotten it across the finish line without all of you; i am endlessly grateful for the dedication and follow-through!

this movie took nearly two years of blood, sweat and tears to complete. but, at the end of the day, i would do it all over again. because impacting even one person and making them feel seen, is what fuels me to keep telling stories.
