It’s a great song. I loved it immediately and the video has turned out brilliant. It’s got a great message behind it, which, asides from the music, is one of the things that made me want to do it.

Can’t stress this enough. I was struggling for literally decades until I started asking for help. Thought everyone must have the same stuff going on in their heads and I was over sensitive. Settled into feeling like shit for the rest of my days. Anyway, I asked for help and eventually I got it. Not the first time. And not the second time. But eventually I got help and now I’ve been diagnosed with a type of bipolar, I’m on some medication that seems to be working and I’m not thinking about killing or hurting myself every moment of every day. Jesus Christ. Can I even say I’m happy? Most of the time, yeah.

Massive Wagons are an incredible band. I’ve seen them live a bunch of times and met them all and got to watch them filming their bits at The Alhambra, an old crumbling music hall on the sea front in Morecambe, when I was up there filming last month. What a great time. What a great gang. Go and check them out!

And please, if you’re struggling talk to your mates, talk to your doctor, talk to your family, talk to strangers, but if you’re struggling with your mental health, confused with your emotions or feeling low, talk to someone. It CAN and DOES get better

Thank you to everyone that came to see my Masterworks In Progress ‘26 show at @machcomedyfest yesterday and for selling it out for me.

I was really proud of it and it felt like the old me from ten years ago was back on stage along with everything I’ve learnt about myself since.

I was actually very emotional by the response you gave me, at the start and the end. It meant an awful lot that you were there. Was lovely to perform some poems I haven’t performed in probably at least 10 years and I was so happy you seemed to like the new songs.

I love my annual Tabernacle Sunday Night slot that I’ve been doing for the last however many years. It’s always different and always fun, but I think this was my most favourite yet. And it means a lot to have got to share it with my life partner @david.trent for the first time in too long.

I’ve turned a creative corner recently and am desperate to share some new stuff with you again. Currently working on getting the new album out as soon as I can, got some Edinburgh dates to be announced this week, and then I’m working on the poetry book before trying to write my fucking film I’ve been writing for too long now. Busy busy. Thanks for the overwhelming support and thanks for always being there for me through thick and thin.
