Tried something new in the air today 💨
Installed a smoke system recently, first flights to test it out, and it works great.
Had to slightly modify the exhaust to fit the oil injector, but nothing crazy.
Got a few creative ideas in mind with this… can’t wait to bring them to life.
Just a short flight above home to test everything, always a pleasure flying here.

This trip could’ve lasted months without ever missing the comfort of home. Even with daily use of the microwave and cooktop, it was impossible to drain the 10 kW battery, thanks to the 700 W of solar and the 1500 W alternator, it recharged almost faster than we could use it.
Going further than most vehicles (4x4, BF Goodrich, lift, compressor, winch), being the only ones able to watch Netflix with no signal for the last 50 miles (Starlink), or taking a hot shower like at home while it’s freezing outside (Infinity Shower)… it’s a kind of luxury you get used to very quickly.
Add to that the friendliness, respect, and kindness of the people we met along the way, and it easily becomes one of the best experiences of my life.
Simple as that: I just want to go back.

Going further than most vehicles (4x4, BF Goodrich, lift, compressor, winch), being the only ones able to watch Netflix with no signal for the last 50 miles (Starlink), or taking a hot shower like at home while it’s freezing outside (Infinity Shower)… it’s a kind of luxury you get used to very quickly.
Add to that the friendliness, respect, and kindness of the people we met along the way, and it easily becomes one of the best experiences of my life.
Simple as that: I just want to go back.

Malgré une utilisation quotidienne du micro-ondes et des plaques de cuisson, impossible de vider les 10 kW de batterie qui, grâce aux 700 W de panneaux solaires et aux 1500 W de l’alternateur, se rechargent presque plus vite qu’on ne peut les consommer.
Pouvoir aller plus loin que la plupart des véhicules (4x4, BF Goodrich, rehausse, compresseur, treuil), être les seuls à pouvoir lancer un Netflix alors qu’il n’y a plus aucun réseau depuis les 50 derniers kilomètres parcourus (Starlink), ou encore prendre une douche chaude comme à la maison alors qu’il gèle dehors (Infinity Shower)… c’est un luxe auquel on s’habitue très vite.
Ajoute à ça la convivialité, le respect et la bienveillance des Américains qu’on a croisés, et ça donne sans aucun doute l’une des plus belles expériences de ma vie.
C’est simple : je n’ai qu’une envie, c’est d’y retourner.

This trip could’ve lasted months without ever missing the comfort of home. Even with daily use of the microwave and cooktop, it was impossible to drain the 10 kW battery, thanks to the 700 W of solar and the 1500 W alternator, it recharged almost faster than we could use it.

Early morning jump over Lake Annecy… nothing beats that.
We crossed the lake in a hot-air balloon with a soft, cloudy light, but the view was still unbelievable, we really live in an incredible region.
And then everything happened last minute: Meryl on my shoulders, one step back… and we jumped from the balloon.
Such a cool, pure sensation.
That’s what I love with her, always motivated, always good vibes, always ready for something new.
It was also the perfect moment to test the MAX 2 in low-light conditions. Not much sunlight, but really happy with how it turned out.
Moments like this… literally just next to home.
Every time I’m reminded how lucky we are to live here.

Engine off. Total silence. Just the wing above me and the landscape unfolding endlessly below.
This is what paramotor flying gives access to.. moments no other aircraft can offer.
A kind of freedom that lets you slip straight from everyday life into something unreal.
One single descent… and a memory I’ll never forget.

The dream of gravity ✨
A beautiful jump with the amazing @theoadb from @weflyparapente. He, @antoinecabiac and I met at @antonivilloni‘s athlete summit a few weeks prior. The wind was quite high, blowing between 15-20knots, but we both landed safely beyond stoked on the accomplishment!
If you are near Annecy, France and want to experience the world from above like we do, absolutely send any of them a DM. They are the best, nicest, and safest pilots I know. I cannot recommend them enough. Tell them I say hello…bonus points if in French.
And dont worry, you will be completely strapped into the harness safety belts from takeoff to landing 😉
