My debut album, Architecture is out! It’s a project that’s been slowly taking shape over the past two years, and one that means more to me than I can easily put into words.
The process began with Sober, the first song I wrote for the album (the demo dates back to January 2024!). It opened a period of deep introspection: questioning my limits, habits, and the ways I move through the world. From there, journals and notes turned into songs, and Architecture gradually came together as a body of work about tearing down facades: emotional walls, performed identities, and the systems we often accept without question.

I was lucky to build this album alongside incredible collaborators. @joakimbuddee has been part of the Nieri journey since day one, and together with @ingrid_witt_music , @whydotheycallmejen , @jadeellsthlm and @ivankinell we wrote the core of the record. Later on, @dieandgoaway and @juliapollyadams joined the process, and the album was completed in the summer/fall of last year.

Each song on Architecture holds its own meaning and emotional weight for me. My hope is that listeners can find their own reflections in these tracks: whether on the dancefloor, alone with headphones, or somewhere in between.

I’m incredibly proud of this release and grateful to everyone who helped bring it to life. Thank you to @xkerstrom @cosmosmastering for mastering, @super.specific @dandoingmusic for strategy, @headbtchmusic for distribution, and @isobel for streaming support. A huge thank you as well to @mccall_olsen and @baylie_olsen for capturing the album through photography.

Visuals are a big part of how I tell stories, and Sober felt like it needed its own visual chapter. The music video is out today too. A cinematic video that amplifies the song’s message. It was co-directed with @hunterwaynefoster (who also choreographed it), shot by @flaschworld and brought to life by an incredible cast.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who’s listened, shared, supported, or is about to press play for the first time. And thank you to @danielrahmann, my family, friends and cats for believing in me throughout this entire journey.

For my set at @toiletclubmilano I performed a medley of 3 of my song. It was an intentional sequence, from feeling not so human (Andy Warhol), going through the motions of drinking and partying (Sober), to reclaiming a more natural connection (Outside).

Today in 1998, George Michael was arrested by an undercover cop while cruising in Beverly Hills, sparking a highly publicized scandal. Many thought it would damage his career. Instead, he responded with the hit Outside. I love this song and the way he took something meant to shame him and turned it into a bold, unapologetic statement, reclaiming his sexuality and identity. The music video (used in this reel) is iconic too!
That’s why I wanted to cover it on Architecture. It’s a reminder that adversity can be transformed into something powerful, and that there’s no shame in owning who you are.
