Sad day today, we lost one of the founders of ThorpyFx. Oppie has been part of the team since the very beginning and a few years ago moved in with my eldest Son (our latest team member) Frazer.This morning we received the awful news that the original solder pup had succumbed to a stroke and passed away. If you have any Pups in your life, please give them a stroke and cuddle, they are taken too soon.

I’m testing out the great new Kudu overdrive pedal from thorpy effects! If you don’t know Thorpy effects, you really need too! I’ve been using their compressor, the fat general, for years! This killer sounding overdrive is designed for stacking with other pedals and amps. For this track I was running the Kudu straight into the front of the @victoryampsuk The Deputy just on the edge of breakup.

With this overdrive you get a level, bite and drive control along with a toggle switch that lets you flip between soft, hard and extra soft clipping. For this track I had it on hard clipping mode.

I've been playing around with this overdrive for a while and it sounds epic in so many different stacked scenarios... Artwork is killer too!
