Some weeks are for chasing openings. This one is more about knowing where to sit for a few hours.

Bangkok slips deeper into hot-season survival mode right now, so cold brews, lighter menus and dessert-leaning drinks are doing most of the work.

HOMU (@homu.bkk) goes deep into pistachio season with Pista& (@pista_and), while C.P.S. Coffee Roaster (@cpscoffee) remixes nostalgic Thai desserts into summer coffees that land sharper than expected. Over in Song Wat, KIMI SW3 (@kimi_sw3) opens inside the increasingly busy Soul Songwat (@soulsongwat), filtering Thai ingredients through a distinctly Japanese lens.

For something more polished, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park (@marriottmarquisbkk) rolls out Kagoshima A5 wagyu at Pagoda Chinese Restaurant (@pagodabangkok) and Ora King salmon dishes at Akira Back Bangkok (@akirabackbkk), while Blue Parrot Bangkok (@blueparrotbkk) turns Thursday nights into a rosé-soaked afterwork situation with DJs, games and complimentary pours if you register fast enough.

Swipe through and pick where you want the city to pull you in.

Already on your list? Doors open daily 11am-7.30pm, with tickets at B199 at @asiatique.thailand.

Fresh from its glow-up, Chalermprakiat Park 80th Anniversary of His Majesty the King (Sathorn) already feels lived-in 🌳

Kids zigzag between play zones from the moment you walk in, while parents settle into shady corners nearby. The park stays compact, but the layout makes the most of the space: jogging paths loop around picnic lawns, covered hangout spots and a pond that comes into its own around sunset 🌅

It’s calmer than Lumphini, smaller than Benjakitti, and all the better for it.

Open daily from 5am-9pm

Bangkok's @theweekndfans can finally unclench. After weeks of whispers and wishful thinking, he confirms a full-scale Bangkok date lands at Rajamangala Stadium on October 11 🎫

This run ties together After Hours, Dawn FM and Hurry Up Tomorrow, a three-part arc that's reshaped his sound and stage presence over the past few years. The set moves between neon-lit melancholy and stadium-sized spectacle, and he doesn't let go of either. Support comes from @creepynuts_official, who've been riding high on 'Bling-Bang-Bang-Born'.

Tickets drop via @livenationth. Presales begin May 18 for fan club members, May 19 for VISA cardholders and May 20 through the promoter, with general sale opening May 21. Set the alarm! 🎟️

A dead stick insect on the table: twig-brown, legs angled like something dropped from a branch, so still it looks like resting, and we remember, not for the first time, that the city has never belonged to us alone. 🐞🐜🪰🐛🪲

Inside @wanghin.lab, brothers Kawin and Kavee Sirichantakul are getting Bangkok back in touch with nature – one pin at a time. Working from a home studio, they treat insects as neither pests nor curiosities nor decoration, but something altogether more serious: a window into a natural world most of us stopped noticing long ago.

Another milestone lands, and this one carries a certain national pride 🎬

This year, @m_studiomovies is steering the charge at the Marché du Film. Front and centre sit Death Whisperer: Saming The Werebeast, a folk horror spin-off scaled up with striking visuals, and The Confession of a Sorcerer, adapted from The Ghost Radio, trading jump scares for something darker and more human.

The newly polished Green Bridge now links Lumphini Park and Benjakitti Park in one clean, uninterrupted stretch, clocking in at 250 metres 🌿

Open since May 1 and ready to use, the route swaps patchy pavements for smooth granite underfoot, while cyclists get a softer, sport-grade lane that's kinder on the knees and easy on the eye.

It's not just about distance. Benches turn up at just the right moment, lifts and ramps keep things accessible, and dedicated paths let walkers and riders stick to their own rhythm. Open daily from 6am to 6pm.

Food stopped being a basic need a long time ago. Across the Asia-Pacific, it reads as infrastructure, influence and long-term security, shaped by a region still holding deep reserves for production and supply.

That's the backdrop for @thaifexanugaasia, running May 26-30 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. This year stretches across 12 halls and more than 140,000 square metres – the largest edition yet. Timing matters. Sourcing calls across food and drink now carry tighter deadlines and sharper consequences, with buyers working earlier and with less margin for error.

More than 3,300 exhibitors from over 60 countries meet upwards of 88,000 trade visitors from 140 markets, forming one of the region's most concentrated meeting points for decision-makers. Nine specialised shows fold onto one platform, covering everything from fine food and seafood through to technology, confectionery and rice. Fewer flights, faster shortlists and deals wrapped within five days.

The European Union joins as Official Partner Region, bringing its producers directly alongside Asian supply. Eleven trend zones span from alternative proteins to clean label and Halal, plus new additions like New-to-Market Street and Taste the Future.

Then there's PLX Asia, a new B2B platform focused on private label and contract manufacturing. It opens with the PLX Asia Industry Leadership Summit on May 29, setting the tone before a full rollout in 2027.

Worth noting if you're serious about where the region's food systems are heading – and who's getting there first.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
