Precisely one month ago, two days before Elijah’s unexpected early arrival, our good friend @_alex_fleming_ came over to take some “bump” photos! I was 38 weeks and 5 days.
I enjoyed pregnancy a lot more than I thought I would. I didn’t get much “morning” sickness or experience extreme fatigue - I had back pain throughout, and heartburn towards the end, but both disappeared as soon as he was out and were very manageable. My mood stayed pretty level and I felt happy, calm, and excited to become a parent.
It was a unique and fascinating experience I feel privileged to have gone through 🫶🏻
