This installation at Hudson Yards features the “Xerxes textile” by @omexcowallcoverings. A thread based wallcovering that brings depth and movement to the space.

Installed “railroad” (horizontal application), the material flows seamlessly across the walls, creating a continuous, uninterrupted texture throughout the dining and kitchen area.
The seams disappear, the lines align, and the craftsmanship speaks for itself.

A fully feathered wallcovering layered with peacock patterns; delicate, dimensional, and incredibly unforgiving.

The biggest challenge? installation had to be done upwards, not downwards, to preserve the feathers and avoid fraying. every cut, every corner, every seam demanded absolute precision to keep the pattern seamless.

At Megan H Gallery on East 11th Street, this project formed part of a larger scenography by Alban Roger—where every surface was designed to contribute to the experience, not simply exist within it.

Texture in motion

For the hallway installation in this series, continuing our collaboration with @drewmcgukin Interiors, this time featuring a handcrafted @phillipjeffriesltd wallcovering made from some of the finest authentic materials.

This paper is composed of genuine micro-shavings layered with live fiber and washi scrim, creating a subtle graphic luminescence that lives just beneath the surface. As light moves through the corridor, the texture shifts — quiet, refined, but incredibly dimensional.

Hallways may seem simple, but they are among the most demanding architectural spaces. Long sightlines. Tight returns. Continuous flow. Every corner had to be wrapped with precision. Doorbells, trim details, and narrow passages required delicate cutting and exact positioning so that the natural texture remained uninterrupted.

With materials this refined, there is no room for error. The integrity of the surface must remain intact while honoring the rhythm of the architecture.

This is where installation becomes discipline — and discipline becomes art.
