Happy anniversary you lot!

This weekend marks 12 months since our first party as Tribe Select so we’d like to say thank you first and foremost to the dancing crew for following us and our speakers around. Thank you for donating and buying tickets, thank you for spreading the word and continuing to support our little hobby. Thank you for always bringing the good vibes and party energy along with you and we promise to keep the ball rolling as long as we can.

We’ve got Tribe Fest to look forward to once the Kaz has been turned to technicolour rubble, we’ve got Allsorts to go at again and a few collaborations with other party putter-on-er’s to keep you entertained over the next couple of months so we hope to see the regulars and hopefully some newbies as well.

For now though the tribe have got their heads stuck in their headphones and USBs glued the decks in preparation for Saturday the 16th, don’t forget to stretch and limber up and as always, bring some wacky shades.

See you next week, and here’s to many more perfect parties.

Tribe Fest returns.

27/06/2026 - The date for your diaries.
Same concept, same vision - now even better shaped by your ideas and feedback.

Still completely free and running all day, into the early hours and beyond. This time we’re bringing it forward in the year, aiming for brighter weather and also the hope of aligning with a Strawberry moon.

12+ hours of music, a unique secluded setting. Secret games, and maybe even a treasure hunt🤫

We will have a donations link up and running after our next night in Liverpool, however you can still donate via that pot as it all goes towards the same thing.

Save the date - Tribe Fest is back🌲

Connection. Energy. Release.
The only way to sum up Saturday.
4pm, light outside, jazz band playing in the garden. Meanwhile in Tribe Selects sound dungeon, mgma is spinning your sanity with some slow wonky electro. On comes Harrison airing acid tones to raise the tempo. Morgan follows with some swinging tech house to take you into peak time, rolling out the red carpet for the techno trio. Zoe stylishly nails the door shut as always. Detroit pressure draws in the crowd. Herbie muscles in with a three deck 909 workout. At this point the room is basically a blazing techno inferno. Jake arrives to put the fire out. A hypnotising, emotional finale.

To our regulars who travelled from near and far, it means everything.
To the many newcomers who stumbled upon us and bought in. Welcome and thank you.
To all the donors, these parties can’t happen without you.
It may just be a night out to you, but to us it is special to witness it unfold.
Tribe Fest looms - the same donation link will remain live and all donations will be directed towards that.

Huge love.

Back on selection duties and I’ve just got 8 tunes to share with ya this week. I’m currently away travelling so these selections are coming at ya from the other side of the world.

No real theme to these other than being tunes I’ve enjoyed whilst being away/this year. All very much MGMA tackle though.

Hope you enjoy.

My friends over at Tribe Select have invited me to select some tunes this week, be sure to check them out. They’ve got a free event on at the Kaz in Liverpool on the 16th of May for anyone nearby @kazimiergarden_ @tribe.select

1)Percy X - As Is
Lovely track released on the legendary Soma Records from Glasgow in the 90’s.

2)Skee Mask - Small Stone S700
Nice track from a versatile producer.

3)Slam - Visions (Vitalic mix)
Ethereal vocal thoughout alongside some lethal synths. You can hear the electroclash influence of the time in this one.

4)Orbe, Psyk - Groov
This one came out the other week. Some synthy goodness on non series, check out the label for more

5)Alan Braxe & Fred Falke - Intro (Ignition Technician Remix)
Techno remix of a house classic I found on YouTube a few years ago.

A few from the recent rotation. Deep, atmospheric, and properly head-down. The kind of cuts that blur the room and pull you inward.

Ethereal textures, late-night energy, and grooves that breathe if you let them. Built for closed eyes, low lights, and a dance floor that moves as one.

Take time to listen to these in full, give the artists the credit they deserve.

Enjoy and Happy Easter 🐣

"that's exactly how we were introduced to @djbone313 ourselves—through the older heads in our own circle, people we've always respected and learned from."

"that kind of passing down of knowledge and taste feels incredibly important. it's how scenes stay alive—how they keep their depth and meaning. it's a lineage, really." — @mpctrax

Tribe Selections - Fuckthewarmup

If you’d have asked me a few months ago I definitely wouldn’t have gone down the old skool road. There’s so much new music out there to enjoy.
But, nothing new recently has blown me away and I ended up listening to some early rave scene tracks. So many tunes lately reminding me of sounds from back then. The ones I’ve chosen can still unite a dance floor.
Common theme running through..
Piano
Euphoricness (not sure that’s a word)
Dance floor massive. Enjoy x

Lock up - Zero B. (Monolith mix) 1991

Stompy, Trance, Dirty bass bits, horns, whistles, highs and lows. It’s got everything you want. Epic tune. 👌

The Tape - Remix. Frank de Wulf. 1990

Electronic, Techno. Stompy as Fuck.
Absolute Belter.

Kiss My Piano (dub version). Emily Hey 1991.
Wahoo! Such a good Italo piano tune. High energy, sexy vocals. Turn it up very loud and dance ya socks off 😃

J.t Company. Don’t deal with us. 1990.

Don’t know where to start with this one?
It’s so big! I remember what this time felt like on the dance floor. Gave me goosebumps. Still does. Get your hands in the air for gods sake n dance!

All Join Hands (extended mix) CeCe Rogers. 1992.

Anthemic, House, Gospel tune. Uplifting Joyful, Soulful vocals. Summer party vibes. Keep your arms down for this one. I challenge ya! Another dance floor uniter ❤️

From Disco to Disco. Whirlpool productions. 1996.

A lovely, happy, bobbly, feel good, German House music track. Massive club hit in Italy. (They know a good tune when they hear one) How can you not smile through this. Unless you don’t like it.

Oldskool Baby (piano mix). Westbam & Nena. 2002.

Beautiful melodic tune, electronic beats, piano throughout and soothing vocals.
Close your eyes, we’re near the end. Hug it out 😝

Whether the Weather - Laurent Garnier mix feat Juan Wauters. 2021.

Had to finish with this. A 10 minute lose yourself journey of pure goodness. 👌
Warm, Eurphoric, Melodic, Electronic, Techno House.
Introduced it at Bee Cottage. Time 5am. Stopped all the jibber jabbering. Reunited the dance floor. Everyone going “what the fucks this”.

Happy Sunday Everyone. 😃

Tribe Selections | Tom2Trax

@tom2trax is a Manchester/Wigan based DJ who runs Wigan’s Alltrax Radio, throws city-centre parties as one half of Room2Move and has released club cuts on @sprechenmusic as well as his self-released abstract/ambient sound.

Marcus Paulson - Garden City
This track has such a thick ‘Mr Fingers - Washing Machine’ style bass and the whole production screams Chicago 1989. It was however released in 2023 and was made by Manchester-based Marcus Paulson. Every time I play this out on a proper system, the section where the bass line plays solo for a few bars gives me chills.

Nomad - Devotion (Pangaea’s Edit)
Enough time has passed since this record’s release where I’m proudly packing it again in my record bag. Ultimate UK rave vocal, dense bass stabs and ethereal breakbeats - this is just a perfect dance floor heater and I’ll be playing this a lot this year.

Jamie Principle – Date With The Rain (Hurley’s Club Mix)
The perfect mix of thumping kick and breakbeats, with soulful sax and uplifting vocals. This record has been in rotation for a few seasons now for me, and it fits into so many situations: when you want to let the crowd breathe in the club and break the tension, or to bring some extra heat toan extended bar session - top stuff.

David Alvarado – Klugh (Main mix)
Although I haven’t played this record in a while, I picked it up for about 50p a few years back and every time it makes itself back into my bag, it’s a joy to play. The huge, washing synths really open up a dance floor and raise a few trance-induced smiles. And those congas - need I say any more? If your hands aren’t into air for this one I think you may be dead inside.

With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
