Waldfrieden & Hai in den Mai Solidarity Opening Party:
Last week the Hai in den Mai Festival 2026 could not take place after a last-minute legal decision shortly before the gates were due to open.
For everyone involved, this was a shock: guests, artists, crew members, decorators, technicians, freelancers, service providers, and all the people who had already spent days, weeks or even months building, preparing, and working for the festival.
Waldfrieden is more than a festival ground. It is a cultural place with almost 30 years of music, community, and shared history. Right now, the situation around Waldfrieden is serious, and many people from the community have been asking how they can help.
Together with people from the @waldfrieden_official and @haiindenmai community, @trypexpo is dedicating its opening party in solidarity with the people directly affected by the cancellation.
TRYP Expo and Funkhaus Berlin are providing the space and the opportunity to create support for the community around Waldfrieden. All participating artists and the deco crew are joining in solidarity. All remaining Hai in den Mai Festival Ticket Holders will get a 50% discount via email, valid for all tickets and events during the TRYP Expo.
With your Friday Opening Night x Waldfrieden ticket you get access to the Opening Concert with Huni Kuin & the Yawanawá guided by John Prado in the famous Studio 1 of Funkhaus (start 8PM) and to the Waldfrieden & Hai in den Mai Soli Party at Monom Bar as well (open doors 9PM).
