Sometimes you drown in your thoughts, searching for ways to excite yourself, to still feel surprised… almost alive.
By something you desire to create.

I thought about this project almost a year ago. I had multiple dates planned, but the space and weather made it difficult to roll out a 50m long painting and have enough time to finish it.
Thanks to the amazing @motorwerkberlin for giving us their space and the possibility to finally do it.

I remember telling @tino_steinborn about it, and with no questions asked, he just did the research and ordered the paper.
We have worked together for so long that he doesn’t doubt anymore. It’s a special form of trust and appreciation. I love this. Thank you.

Seeing the paper at full size made me scared for a second, but everyone who knows me will tell you I love a little challenge — and sometimes I need it.
I had no plan, made no sketch, just followed the flow of the moment.

Same as getting to this point — I remember being rejected in so many ways, entering this world having no idea what the fuck was going on… it was hard, man, to arrive where I am now.

In the darkest moments, I always had that little glimpse inside me that never let me give up. It never allowed me to quit — an unconditional belief that somehow it would work out.

We cut it into 100 pieces, each unique, each an original, each available only once — just like my tattoos.

This painting stands for my path. Each one has its own beauty in the darkness. Each one is a little reminder to dream and go for it if you really don’t want to live without it.
Each one is a reminder not to quit when things get tough.
Each one is a glimpse to believe in yourself.
Each one tells you that rejection doesn’t define your worth — and that sometimes, it can all work out.

Skin is not merely a surface, but a boundary where the inner and the outer, the personal and the social, fear and the desire to be seen all converge. In SWAG, Stas Gromov approaches the body as a carrier of traces — emotional, temporal, and biographical. This exhibition is about what a person tries to conceal, and what inevitably still comes through.

Scanning has always been a fascinating topic to me; the more excited I was when @botspot3d approached me to work on a feature film of their brand new Botscan NEO3 full body scanner and their new object scanners for the German Government.

As outcome, we produced a case study film about how botspots professional scanners are constructed, how they operate and why Canon plays a crucial part in achieving the highest image output quality available on the market.

What a pleasure to work on this one <3
