Aphex Twin – Sacrum Profanum 2009

My laser debut was for Aphex Twin at Sacrum Profanum Festival 2009, in the monumental Chemical Tinning Hall of ArcelorMittal Poland, Nowa Huta.
It was the very first time ever that I worked with lasers for this kind of show while working for the company Mediam.

Definitely one of the most important events of 2026. It was a true honor to “play” the visual 360° layer during a 6-hour live performance by legends of the Polish electronic music scene.

We’ve just returned from an incredible journey through structures invisible to the naked eye. IN wasn’t just a visual project — it was an attempt to capture the unseen forces that shape our reality. 🧬✨

We were inspired by collagen entanglements, cell divisions (#Mitosis), and dense, fleshy tissue structures. We searched for life where others see only chaos.
A moment where smooth, laminar flow fractures into micro-turbulence — breaking continuity into grainy, organic fragments. That raw disruption is what gives our work its soul.

The animation was created based on the phenomenon of #Flow_Turbulence also known as #Turbulent_Flow.

It reveals itself through the subtle “fraying” of fibers — a visual metaphor for the transition from smooth, laminar motion into a chaotic state.

Within this shift, micro-vortices emerge, disrupting continuity and transforming fluid lines into granular, fragmented structures.

In February 2026, the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź became a space of closeness.

The premiere of “Poświatowska: Bliskość” — an immersive music-literary experience where the intimate poetry of Halina Poświatowska meets contemporary sound and technology.

Written and directed by Adam Kupaj, based on the poet’s works and her autobiographical prose Opowieść dla przyjaciela.

Visuals unfolding as a meditation on love, intimacy, loss, and the fragility of life — from birth to the final five minutes of the brain’s activity.

The premiere also marked the beginning of the INSPIRI Foundation’s journey — the organization behind the project.

Funded by the National Recovery Plan of the Republic of Poland and the European Union under the NextGenerationEU programme.

Into The FOMO_part IV: Dispersion
22.02.2026 · Tonarium · Katowice

For over fifteen years, Tomek Gawroński has been building visual worlds at the intersection of music, technology and space. Under the name @tvingstagedesign, he creates animations, LED and laser installations, and video mapping — a language of light that does not illustrate sound, but exists alongside it.

His work has shaped festivals such as Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Sacrum Profanum, Unsound and Up To Date Festival. He has designed visuals for artists including Skalpel and Emika, and presented his first laser show to Aphex Twin live in 2009.

At Into The FOMO_part IV, light becomes an autonomous layer of the experience. Not decoration — but a spatial force through which sound takes form. Within the immersive architecture of @tonariumlab, image and light will interact with the room itself — shaping a fully embodied experience.

@fomoklub is a musical idea born from the ruins of a former club in Białystok that defies easy categorisation. Operating simultaneously as a label, a mobile stage enclosed in a container-like form, and a series of sound-based interventions, FOMOKLUB arrives in Katowice this February.

The next chapter of the Into The FOMO series will take place in the unique space of @tonariumlab, where an immersive sound system and exceptional acoustics will allow the audience to fully dive into the realm of contemporary electronic music.

The evening will unfold through sounds rooted in slowed-down Jamaican dub, unsettling and pulsating streams of noise, minimalist drones, and glitch-driven experiments balancing on the edge of form and disintegration.
