While I was meditating today, suddenly this work popped up in my mind. I realised that I posted a picture of this work exactly 10 years ago from today on the way to go Edinburgh to edit the film with @cplkao from Huddersfield.

I really loved this work but I feel like this was the least lucky piece which wasn’t accepted anywhere to show. I submitted as a dance film but I don’t think it fitted in that category. Recently, I was talking about this work with Lucas again, and Lucas described it as a “dance installation”, which feels definitely a better description.

No matter what happened to the work, I am an extremely lucky person who I was able to work with the amazing and beautiful people.

The film will be world premiered in @glasgowshort on the 22nd, we are so excited to share the film with the world in the place the film is set.

The film took us three years to make, and we have the best team of talented and dedicated people as the film can have, thank you all.

The screening is sold out but may have more tickets releasing closer to the date.

I would have never thought that our story and garden from the remote corner of our often politically ignored island of Cyprus will take me to the US for the first time in such hard times like now.

I chose this picture because we are trying to mediate political polarisation within our family and it’s such an interesting time to present this film in the US with the idea that we need to understand each other and work together.
