We are very excited to have François Chambard of @umproject as a guest speaker at the @vermontartbookfair .
The working title of his talk is Designing and Building Mobile Print Presses for Iskra Print Collective: Using the Power of Objects to Create Art and Build Communities.
“Having gotten to know François through our work on the mobile presses, I can say his genius is matched by his generosity and kindness. I am a better maker and person for the experience, and I can’t wait to hear him speak about the intention behind his craft.” — Shawn Dumont, Iskra / Shelter
François started UM Project in 2004 as a solo designer and maker practice, creating objects that move between function and fiction. More recently, he founded Unblock Space, an initiative that supports collective work with a focus on advocacy through objects.
François will be speaking at 2:30pm on Saturday the 11th.
More details about venders, events and speakers can be found in the website!

Introducing an art making machine designed and fabricated for @iskraprint Iskra Print Collective in Burlington, VT. The project is a total reinvention of the printing press developed in 2015 for the Museum of Arts and Design @madmuseum in NYC in 2015. This time the presses (2 of them for now) are small and mobile! In addition of being instruments of public participation, they are part of a community outreach program. The mobile presses travel in the state of Vermont and beyond to meet people where they are, providing access to a tool, a process and a practice they would not have access to otherwise, and creating meaningful experiences and connections. The project was funded by the Vermont Community Foundation @vtcommfoundation .
Big thanks to:

Proud and humbled to have been nominated for The National Design Awards in the Product Design Category by Cooper Hewitt @cooperhewitt . The nomination was a meaningful recognition, a heartfelt encouragement to continue exploring, designing and creating, and a reminder of the connections to a world and a community I deeply care for.
Congratulations to this year’s winner @bcstudentcraft as well as last year’s winner @redesignhealthcare . I kept my nomination secret since 2025 as I believed the process was confidential. But hearing about this year’s nominees, including some good friends and outstanding studios @danielmichalik and @grain_design , makes it news worth spreading!
Speaking of secrets, thank you to the mystery person(s) who nominated me. It means a lot.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
