Umu Studios presents Wall Works, a group exhibition of ceramic wall pieces on view May 1 & 2
at Umu Studios, 369 S Rosemead Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107.
Ceramics, with roots in both utility and sculpture, take on new associations when hung on a wall. Wall Works invites artists to explore the expressive, conceptual, and structural possibilities of clay in vertical form—transforming the wall into a stage for material, form, and shadow.
This show celebrates clay as a medium that doesn’t just occupy space—it redefines it. Each piece navigates the boundaries between craft, design, and art—expanding how we understand ceramics within contemporary interiors and architectural context.
