𝙐𝙣𝙘𝙪𝙩 𝙂𝙚𝙢𝙨 is a raw exploration of what makes the cornerstone of our world.
Dug up from a year long of free playing and experimentations at the 𝗨𝗖𝗛𝗤, these pieces were brought to the surface, like diamonds in the rough, through the direct and spontaneous energy connecting us.

These precious moments, these « gems », were invented and collected during the sessions attended by all the members of Underground Canopy. They are now presented to you, in the form of this authentic record, illustrated by the heartfelt imagery of @davorgromilovic album cover, which perfectly synthesizes the visual incarnation of the project.

"A vibrant mountain stream making its way through a forest burstling with life. The tannin-rich Dark Waters bear a mysteriously tinted look, not too different from highly coveted black gold, the bedrock of modern society and the source of many conflicts."

We made this track as a challenge by JB, to do a rework of the song "🤫" by 🤫, 🤫 and 🤫. The idea was to just keep the accapella and make a whole new instrumental for it.We started playing over the accapella blasting thru the studio speakers, following the flow of each rapper like a conductor and ended up recording the whole thing in a few takes, in one afternoon.
We were so stoked with the result that we wanted to release it as an appetizer for more things to come. Hope you enjoy it!
