PROMOTION IADU 2026 - 2028

@units.mobb c’est l’union de 7 artistes femmes évoluant dans le milieu de l’underground : @oomkhlifa, @rreverse_, @laura_nala5, @missy_nrc, @lindsay_badness, @sophietracymay & @maycrocosm. Leur point commun ? Une passion profonde pour la danse et la culture Hip Hop. Performeuses, danseuses, chorégraphes, elles font aujourd’hui partie des nouvelles figures du Hip Hop, qui pourtant reste encore perçu comme un univers masculin.

Leur prestation sur la scène de @focusonthegroove en 2024 résonne fortement au sein de la communauté, qui reconnaît et célèbre la carrière ainsi que l’apport de ces artistes depuis des dizaines d’années, renforçant la portée du message initial du show UnitS : « Nous sommes là ». Car oui, la création du collectif est aussi une réponse à la sous-représentation des artistes femmes, et en particulier des mères, dans le milieu de la danse. Quand le corps est à la fois un outil de travail et de création, comment le réinventer après des expériences telles que la maternité ? Comment continuer à s’exprimer et à performer tout en jonglant avec la vie quotidienne ? Et parfois, comment tout recommencer ?

S’appuyant sur leurs expériences personnelles et conscientes de l’évolution des mentalités dans le monde de la danse, elles aspirent à approfondir leur réflexion sur leur relation au temps, à l’espace et au corps. Elles souhaitent explorer comment ces éléments influencent non seulement leur pratique artistique, mais aussi leur bien-être et leur identité en tant qu’artistes. En remettant en question les normes établies, elles visent à susciter de nouvelles perspectives sur ces enjeux.

Parallèlement à la création de leur premier show chorégraphique, elles souhaitent impulser une démarche culturelle plus large en ouvrant des espaces de dialogue et de discussion sur l’accompagnement professionnel des danseuses, en mettant en lumière les défis et les réalités auxquels elles font face dans l’industrie au sens large.

En 2026, UnitS intègre le dispositif @iadu.fr pour une durée de deux ans pour son premier projet.
