My mural for Upfest 2026

After taking some time off to have a baby, I wanted this piece to be about protection, connection and motherhood. I chose gorillas for a couple of reasons but also mainly because Bristol’s troop recently moved into their new habitat, so the idea of “home” felt especially meaningful this year.

I wanted the mother and baby to feel powerful but gentle at the same time. Something protective, calm and full of emotion, surrounded by the chaos and colour that’s become part of my work.

It’s been 2 years since I stood at a wall to paint and my god did I miss it.

Rad little trip down to Bristol for @upfest 2026.

It’s been a longtime since I’ve painted at Upfest ( did the first three if memory serves me right 2008-2010 ) so was great to go back and have a little stomp around.
