Classes are done for the semester so now I dive into lab work!

Spent the morning working with @brandon_stargrave on testing low-marker solutions for body tracking into @touchdesigner using the @qualisysmocap system at AETs Lab for Immersive Media @utsdct

We are exploring some options for dancer mocap that doesn’t require full skeletal tracking but still gives enough data to differentiate between multiple dancers all while capturing expression movements for real-time visualization and audio.

This is all part or a really exciting summer collaboration between my department + @so_gaga + @cockrellschool

Mortarboards are like tiny canvases and some of our recent College of Fine Arts grads can't resist a blank canvas.

From a small mountain town in Appalachia to Broadway, film and television, commencement 2026 speaker Kimberly Belflower shared the winding path that led her to becoming a Tony-nominated playwright.

Her message to graduates: don’t hide the parts of yourself that make you who you are. And sometimes the meandering path is the one that leads exactly where you need to go.

Watch her full commencement speech.

One of our favorite commencement traditions? Watching College of Fine Arts put their own creative spin on crossing the stage.

From dance moves to backflips to full-on splits, this year's graduates understood the assignment. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 for making the walk unforgettable.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Anna Hiss for the opening night of the 2026 UT Design Show.

This year's B.F.A. Capstone Showcase brought together some of the most personal, ambitious work our program has seen. Each project told a story about the designer behind it—and every designer had something worth saying.

One of our faculty members gave a @TED Talk, and it'll change how you see everyday design.

Kate Canales, Professor of Practice in the Department of Design, has spent more than 20 years photographing the handmade signs people leave behind when design falls short—uncovering something no technology can replicate: our instinct to look out for one another.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
