We’re proud to join our partners and @vfcorp volunteers who brought heart and grit to help restore Western North Carolina's outdoor recreation economy. Together, we’re building stronger communities and a more resilient future.

Last week in Asheville, we proudly joined community leaders, funders, educators, and @vfcorp employee to launch Thrive Outside Western North Carolina—a movement rooted in partnership and the healing power of nature. Led by the NC Department of Commerce’s Outdoor Economy Office and supported by the @outdoorfoundation, Morrison Family Foundation, and @vfoundation, this initiative will expand outdoor programming, nurture youth leadership, and foster belonging for families across the region.

Thrive Outside WNC is more than recreation—it’s about building regional resilience and connecting communities to the transformative power of the outdoors. We’re honored to help bring this vision to life and look forward to supporting a thriving network where everyone feels welcome in nature.

We were honored to host a panel discussion in our Denver Office on empowering women in supply chain communities where @vfcorp and its brands operate globally. Thank you to Jennifer Sim, VF's Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary and our Foundation Board Secretary for moderating the discussion. It featured @gloria.schoch, Executive Director, @vfc_foundation, Jen Aas, VF's Senior Manager of the Worker and Community Development (WCD) program, and @sarahkrasley, Founder and CEO of @everybodyshimmy. Shimmy’s gamification approach to workforce training has positively transformed lives in Bangladesh and is driving a more sustainable and equitable future for women in the apparel industry.

This summer, @timberland hosted students from @fashionscholarshipfund's Community College Scholars program at thier Herald Square store.

FSF is dedicated to supporting and nurturing the future of fashion. And VF Foundation's long-standing support of FSF to advance broader inclusion of non-traditional students in the fashion and retail talent pipeline gave the Timberland team the opportunity to share their personal career journeys and showcase a day in the life at Timberland.

Now in its third year, the Community College Scholars Program includes students from seven community colleges across the country: Bronx Community College, El Camino College, Hocking College, Hostos Community College, North Shore Community College, Saddleback College, and Tarrant County College.

We are proud to have supported the research behind the recent documentary film, "Roots So Deep", in partnership with @vf and @timberland This research represents the largest national study on regenerative grazing in the U.S. and demonstrates the power of regenerative agriculture to benefit people and planet. Fellows are sponsored to attend Pre-College Summer Programs in Fashion Design at the best design schools in the country.

Scholarships cover full tuition, room & board, as well as travel and supplies.

Fellows are also provided with mentorships, internships, and professional development opportunities.

Any high school student who identifies as Black, African-American, or of African descent can apply.

Last week @vfc_foundation took part in designing the strategic direction for The Resilience Fund for Women in Global Value Chains together with other partners.

The fund is breaking traditional corporate philanthropic molds and is a first-of-its-kind pooled funding initiative for companies, corporate foundations, and private foundations to help transform the fashion industry. Investments contribute to the long-term health, well-being, and economic resilience of women who form the backbone of global supply chains.
