Radio show turned into a 2h commercial, oops!
During yesterday’s episode of “Le Téléphone Rose” at @operator.radio , the theme was SPECTACLE. We discussed the work of @jannesvanarkel, both within and outside of @o.festival.rotterdam , where we have been working on very special things together. We also read Substack, questioned the meaning of poetry and listened to a mashup between Beethoven and Wutang. The show was closed by “Dreamgirls”.

Alongside their individual performances, the artists also respond to one another, creating a shared moment of improvisation.

Vixnde (Viana Afoumou):
Vixnde, pronounced viande, is the artistic identity of Brussels-born singer-songwriter Viana Afoumou. Working within what she calls “raw pop,” she plays with ideas of authorship, identity and commodification, using her voice and live performance as her core instruments.
