In the latest episode of UNFOLD on @rinse.fm, we presented an hour excerpt from our resident, @alba.heidari and @vmansonx’s B2B set during our New Year’s Day extended edition.

This set - which aired last Friday night - is now available to listen back to on Rinse FM’s SoundCloud, via our Instagram Stories.

It may have been Manson X’s UNFOLD debut, but the pair have been sparring together to close to a decade now, and this event was no different: they treated our Main Room to hybrid set, also featuring the use of an Elekron drum machine.

Our monthly UNFOLD show on Rinse FM takes place every second Friday of the month at 23:00 and can be listened back to via Rinse FM’s website and their SoundCloud.

Very excited to share some special news: I’m officially starting a new monthly residency with @radioalhara ! It is a privilege to become a part of the community of this renowned Palestinian radio station.

Under my Neon Rhythms project, I'll be broadcasting politically charged experimental electronic music, ambient soundscapes and field recordings from the protest movement.

A night seven years in the making. Oh how it was worth the wait.

Thank you to everyone for joining us on Friday for @alba.heidari’s curated RE:SISTANCE.

Setting the bar from the off was @bbeck_s, treating us to an assertive, introspective all-vinyl set, ahead of @__vindya sending us spiralling mesmerised into the night.

Next up was this edition’s curator and Resident, Alba Heidari. Together with her long-time DJ sparring partner of 9 years, @vmansonx, the pair invited us all to take a look at the world through their eyesand ears before letting us loose into some of the most exciting corners of their collection. Only once they were truly satisfied, did @_gloria__rose_ step up to bring this long-awaited night to a close.

Nights like RE:SISTANCE enable us to continue our mission to democratise dance floors and further address the financial power imbalance in the industry.

All of the income from the ticket cost is split equally between the five artists, ensuring all of your financial support goes directly to the artists.

Our Residents night returns.

From the moment we first heard @alba.heidari, it was clear our paths would be intertwined. Out of sight of this city’s watchful eyes, many a night would be had dancing toe-to-toe with the majestic shadows that Alba would spark to life with her uplifting, driving grooves.

As a student of music with an unrequited respect of the dance floor, a residency at FOLD was always going to be a matter of when, not if, and one that quickly became a reality in 2020. Our milestones have become her milestones; sharing our first festival appearance together, then the second, third and fourth. Last year, we presented her first All Night Long right here in FOLD.

Our next RE:SISTANCE is curated in its entirety by Alba Hediari, as she invites those who have inspired her on her journey and share the respect she has for the dance floor.
