Skaterdater (1965) directed by Noel Black
Skaterdater is a short film that captured skateboarding at its most nascent and romantically uncomplicated. Shot in sun-bleached Southern California, it follows a boy who abandons his skateboard crew for a girl, the wordless story carrying all the weight of early adolescent. Black shot on location with a largely non-professional cast, and the footage of teenagers navigating parking lots and sidewalks reads today as an accidental archive of early skate culture, years before the industry had solidified. The film won the Palme d’Or for Short Film at Cannes in 1966.

The Muppet Show came out of the work of Jim Henson, whose characters and offbeat sense of humor helped turn the series into one of the most recognizable shows of the 70s
This footage comes from Vision, USA - a magazine series produced by the US Information Agency for international audiences.

Designed in 1968 by the Florentine collective Superstudio, the Bazaar Sofa emerged at the height of Italy’s Radical Design movement. Produced by Giovannetti, the modular seating system combined fiberglass shells with padded interiors wrapped in synthetic fur.
Bazaar reflected Superstudio’s broader critique of modern design and consumer culture. Through objects and environments, the group explored alternative approaches to living and domestic space, often introducing unconventional design decisions. With its sculptural silhouette and distinctive presence, Bazaar became one of the defining examples of that approach - experimental in spirit and still notably contemporary more than fifty years later.
