One way that I build solid follow through by simply keeping a leash on and using it to follow through with all cues.

This isn’t about having a militant dog that always obeys, it is about creating trust between you and your dog by showing them that you mean what you say.

This was intended to be a reel about things you can do with your dog other than a loose leash walk 😂 anyway, here’s a list:

1. Play
2. Hike
3. Run
4. Use a Flirt Pole
5. Train
6. Explore / Sniff on a long line

If you’ve got a high energy dog or a working breed… you’re gonna want to find a way to mentally/physically fulfill them other than a loose leash walk around the neighborhood. It probably won’t cut it 😬
