Girrrl, I've been BUSY! Here's documentation of my booth set-up for different events I did the past 2 weekends.

This year I only did 2 holiday craft market events but they were big ones! Crafty Wonderland at the Oregon Convention Center and Portland Night Market.

I really didn't know what to expect and I spent the last couple months making banners non-stop, designing new prints and things (including this *SOLD OUT* new Fish Towel design!) and it was all worth it for how much Portland showed up to support local artists and makers.

I had my most successful sales days EVER and I made so many connections with new people. Going from making art alone in my office to talking to people non-stop for hours can be A LOT 😆 but we did it!

December 25, 2025: Dear Diary, how dare he? My good-for-everything husband handed me an Eviction Notice with a threat to find a space for my growing art practice…or else???

Fast forward 3 months ⍈ Tomorrow I get the key to a little studio space of my own 👼🏻

For the past 2+ years I’ve been working from ½ a small office in our house. It started with just a laptop, then a writing desk, then a bookshelf, then a desk for my sewing machine, then fabric storage, then more storage, then another folding table for craft space, then another computer screen, then bins on bins for vendor market supplies, and now…now I’ve taken over and the art supplies are spilling into every other room of the house. OOPS.

The new studio space is just 10 minutes from our house! And it’s the next stepping stone I really need to try out right now. It’s bittersweet because as much as I love working from home, I’ve outgrown our shared office. Mentally and physically I’ve been lacking in room to grow and take a breath - to separate work and art from home life. People have asked me for a studio tour and I always laughed, but maybe soon you’ll actually get one.

With this new space, I’m looking forward to compartmentalizing my to-do lists, focusing on just me and my business for more of a work/life balance, and of course decorating my own room ✶☺✶ Weeee!

I started sewing felt banners just for fun in 2024 and my artwork has evolved so much in the past 2 years - it’s pretty fun to find something you really enjoy doing and actually stick with it 😆. I’m so excited to announce that @antlerpdx has invited me back for a 2nd solo art show opening in 2 weeks!

“Garden Party” will open Thursday, March 26th! A gallery reception will be held from 6-9pm. Featuring some cute animals and plants seen in the garden - you’re going to see color, texture, and whole lotta fringe trim ✂️✨🪡

My work will open alongside the exhibition I’ve curated for Antler, called “Forest & Thread” a group art show which features work from 10 other diverse textile artists. It’s going to be so cool to see everything together in one space!

Here’s one of my favorite textile banners from my solo collection, “Over the Pond”, which was shown last year at @antlerpdx. When I reflect on this piece and what it means to me, I think of solitude, quiet strength, and an air of hopefulness.

A bunch of fun projects found their way to me last year. It was a year FILLED with learning and making. It was really unbelievable. I was usually finishing a project and beginning another one at the same time. It’s easy as an artist because while I love what I can offer (and I need money 💰 haha), but sometimes that means I will say yes to everything that comes my way - even if it means working every day of the week.

As I enter my 3rd year of business, I’m hoping to become better at balancing responsibilities and allowing space for personal growth and just plain fun time. Cue: I’m booking custom work a few months out, currently into April/May 2026.

Here’s one of my favorite textile banners from my solo collection, “Over the Pond”, which was shown last year at @antlerpdx. When I reflect on this piece and what it means to me, I think of solitude, quiet strength, and an air of hopefulness.

A bunch of fun projects found their way to me last year. It was a year FILLED with learning and making. It was really unbelievable. I was usually finishing a project and beginning another one at the same time. It’s easy as an artist because while I love what I can offer (and I need money 💰 haha), but sometimes that means I will say yes to everything that comes my way - even if it means working every day of the week.

As I enter my 3rd year of business, I’m hoping to become better at balancing responsibilities and allowing space for personal growth and just plain fun time. Cue: I’m booking custom work a few months out, currently into April/May 2026.
