Many of those who know me personally know I was raised to be a GOD loving man. Now typically most people use the term “God fearing”; my perspective on that has always been why fear something that sacrificed his only son for you to LIVE your life. My peers and those around me have always admired my determination and will-power to push forward through the face of adversities but it’s never been that deep to me because the relationship I developed with God at a young age taught me to do just that.
God gives everyone gifts, no one person is made without one.
As human beings coming into the world, we are literal gifts from God to our families here to teach and learn lessons so our lineages can continue to move forward and evolve through us. I hear so many people in my age bracket and older complain of not having a purpose or at least not being able to realize what it is. From personal life experiences GOD has shown me and kept me on the path of my purpose and he put on my heart to share this morning: YOUR PURPOSE IS SOMETHING ONLY YOU CAN DO and it comes from the GIFTS specifically given to you. But, it’s not for you. Not everyone can sing, draw, act, model or dance but that does not mean you are not gifted in things you are capable of doing. Im passionate about many things, my passions have lead me to my purpose every time. YOUR GIFTS WILL MAKE ROOM FOR YOU. 👑 Use them put them on display in your everyday life and watch how God shows up for you.

ALTER-EGO (origin) Latin meaning “the other self”
Growing up in black families, 8/10 you grew up being called some sort of nickname. If you’re a close friend who’s been around me with my family you’ll never hear me called either of the names above. My nicknames have been shells of my life experiences, identities that were complex and a little complicated but reserved for specific spaces to keep me safe. Growing up with heavy trauma surrounding you and complex familial dynamics you don’t notice the effects it has, you just build defense mechanisms to protect your mind from the damage you literally have no control over. William quite literally takes the cards that are dealt to him and always makes the best of them, because that’s what life experience has taught him to do but there was a constant need for validation from the community and the environment i grew up in. Tyson was born out the necessity to free myself from the oppressions I experienced as a child and the adult in my mind needed a presence to express himself fully without the need for validation of others.Carefree, badass, shows his ass (respectfully of course) and quite literally just dgaf and SPEAKS, he speaks up when his wants and needs aren’t met a trait William had a hard time developing because of always trying to please those around him and not wanting to hurt feelings or disturb the status quo. I know this is a bit long but to anyone out there who felt that they didn’t quite know how to use their voice for things that mattered when you were young, I pray you find the strength and maybe an alter ego of your own who dgaf and doesn’t need validation from anyone but yourself.

It’s been productive, it’s been needed and after constantly being on a go all over the US and abroad for over a year it was extremely overdo. My life has this strange energetic way of letting me know when to get back to myself and then proceeds to show me how and why. This return to self is personal. Consider this my soft launch into my soft era, letting my success come to me while in states of peace and not anxiousness.
