Though our standard shop tolerance is +\- .001” we regularly hold tighter tolerances. This thru-bolt hole on one of our full-size, Permanent Mold center sections is right at .0002 of perfect. #wintersequipped

We use our massive West Michigan Spline roller to form involute splines on various parts, like these steel Sprint car lower shafts for swivel spline couplers. That’s 50,000psi bearing down on the shaft, pressing the grain of the metal into its final shape, essentially cold forging a spline with superior strength.
