VANISH is a headlight film that transitions from clear to lightly smoked when it’s in the sunlight. It’s like transition lenses but for your car. You get the smoked look during the day, and totally clear at night & indoors. It actively adapts when your car is in the sun, cloudy, and at night. It’s called VANISH and it gives you full visibility at all times. Rest assured that you can still easily see your headlights, turn signals, and running lights during the day because it’s only a light smoke effect. The film gives you around 1000 full transitions from light to dark and back to light. The best part is that the film is made from TPU, the same stuff as clear PPF, so it’s thick and protects your headlights from things like rock chips, scratches, bug stains, yellowing and UV Damage for up to 7 years. Here are the steps to install color PPF ⬇️

It’s time to leave vinyl in the past and move up to ARMR Color PPF. Our TPU films can be installed dry, meaning there’s only a small learning curve. Follow this guide to installing color PPF using a dry installation method.

1️⃣ Prep your surface: clean the vehicle, use a clay bar, and give your panel an alcohol bath being sure to get in all the detail areas.

2️⃣ Use Tack Repel on the panel to reduce the amount of tack and friction during installation. Tack Repel is a tack reducer that helps to reduce reposition lines and worming. It helps the air escape through the channels.

3️⃣ Wrap the panel using a little bit of stretch and work from the inside to the outside edge as to not trap air. With our PPF, you don’t need to use any heat because it’s a polyurethane that stretches naturally.

4️⃣ Trim your edges and use a heater to tuck edges. Then use a fine-tip torch to conform the corners.
