[#cottonmouth] The deluxe edition of Cotton Mouth’s Homeward Ryder LP is out now digitally and as a limited vinyl pressing.

Issued with five new remixes by Fire-Toolz, Five Star Hotel, Gooooose and Xen Model.

Each remix offers a new pitch and magnitude to Cotton Mouth’s sonic tremors. Complex polyrhythms rumble alongside pensive breakbeats. Cloudless panoramas are electrified with exploded details, and new paths are forged through Cotton Mouth’s untamable world.

We’re pleased to announce the launch of Canary Sound Werk’s label - a natural progression of our sound programming dedicated to spotlighting the community of artists orbiting our space.

CSW’s first release comes from Xen Model, a duo who collaborate remotely between LA and Berlin. Xen Model’s hardware has run regularly through Canary’s soundsystem and the act is an integral part of the space’s live programming. 

Titled ‘My Device’, Xen Model’s EP is an exercise in heady intensity, a sensibility shared at the label’s headquarters. With three tracks of heads down, future shock material primed for low pressure dancefloors, they mark a departure from previously melodic and rhythmically dense work toward a streamlined club focused approach. Each built around a chassis of breathy vocals, dry percussion and elastic low end, the tracks differ in their respective tempos and attitudes.

pTR is one alias of Pead, a music maker and DJ, based in Berlin via Bangkok. The initiator of blozxom. Pead’s work includes live performances and DJ sets, with notable appearances at events such as Three Sound Expo in Berlin (DE), Ghost2565: live without dead time, Beat Forest, Maho Rasop Festival, Wonderfruit Festival in Bangkok, Korat and Chonburi (TH), and the Asian Meeting Festival in Tokyo, Kobe, and Kyoto (JP). Pead's recent works include the EPs ‘a b c’ as pTR, ‘FFFDBVCK’ as DRIPTECH, ‘-~*’ as r.flav, and ‘zome’ as Tanaad.
