This porcelain hen got a little squished when I tried stamping the bottom with a maker’s mark prototype, so I sanded it down and designed a new one to laser engrave. We put the design into xTool Studio and quickly had a cute maker’s mark that incorporated some flowers into the little imperfections. I love how easy the whole process was!

xTool Studio is super easy to use, and I was able to quickly plug in my hand drawn flowers and type in Glazy Hen. Then I selected the diode laser, which we tested and works best on porcelain clay. The F2 has dual lasers, 5W infrared and 15W diode, so you can engrave on a wide variety of surfaces. The machine is premium quality and definitely worth its value - it has already saved me a lot of time and energy! I may never go back to traditional maker’s marks :) Stay tuned to see what I make next with my xTool F2 :)
