Während der Arbeit an diesem Projekt ist klar geworden, dass die gesammelten Eindrücke und Standpunkte sich in ihrer Komplexität schwer in einem Werbefilm darstellen lassen.
Diese Kurzfassung wird vom BVIB zu werblichen Zwecken genutzt. Eine Langfassung, die allen Protagonisten und dem Thema mehr Zeit und Raum schenken kann, erscheint später.

ARES is a project very close to our hearts. We shot it a while back, drawing inspiration from colored light and the phrase „the morning after“ as our two primary sources of inspiration.

We discussed abuse and the ways in which we or others have experienced it. We explored its effects on the body and soul, as well as how individuals cope with or suppress it. We then filmed the entire project with @kimbiebow in one night in an abandoned building somewhere in Hamburg.

Be mindful of one another, listen attentively and take care of each other.

Find him in the mirror

He smells like sweet decay and

when he kisses you pretty pain shoots
through your lips and you’ll love it.

Because he tastes like blood and metal
fire and ash and his smile holds daggers
that will tear through your throat in a second.

and he will laugh and you will shatter
and you will find him in the pieces he left behind.
